Description of activity
Students are to design and produce a short animation sequence that incorporates a range of skills and techniques in the use of Macromedia Flash. The theme for the animation is open-ended.
Context
Students have been learning about 2D animation and its application to the web and to entertainment. They have spent the previous few weeks learning how to use Macromedia Flash through teacher-directed tutorials and lessons. This activity provides the opportunity for students to apply this knowledge and these skills in the production of a short animation sequence prior to undertaking a more substantial animation task.
