Guidelines for marking
The following guidelines for marking show one approach to assigning a value to a student's work. Other approaches may be used that better suit the reporting process of the school. Categories, marks, grades, visual representations or individual comments/notations may all be useful.

Feedback
Whilst undertaking this Activity, students will be provided with regular and ongoing feedback including:
- discussion between teacher and student during the production and at the completion of the project which could also include individual demonstration of specific techniques and processes
- oral and/or written feedback on safe working practices during the production of the project
- a final mark for the completed project (that may incorporate mark sheet with written and/or oral feedback)
- peer-evaluation and self-evaluation of completed practical project.
Future directions
This Activity serves as a preparation for undertaking more substantial practical projects in Jewellery Specialised Modules 3 and 4.
