Description of activity
Students create a representation of the play Much Ado About Nothing in a new medium that reflects their understanding of the female characters. They then write a reflection statement that explains decisions underpinning their representation.
Context
Students have completed a close critical study of Much Ado About Nothing and have identified and discussed the key ideas or issues, including those that relate to the presentation of the female characters and how they have been explored. Students have previously examined the role of women in Shakespeare’s time.
