Feedback
The teacher will provide written feedback that addresses the criteria. Comments inform students about such things as:
- their ability to describe the dance work accurately
- their use of appropriate dance terminology.
Future directions
As a result of the learning experiences in this Activity, students have begun to learn the basics of dance analysis. They have deconstructed various components of the dance, including the spatial aspects, and in future activities will continue to identify other components of a dance. They will continue to draw on their knowledge and experience in the practices of performance and composition, and apply these skills to the analysis of their own and their peers’ performances and compositions, as well as dance works of art.
