Students write or illustrate a simple procedure using a scaffold provided by the teacher.

Prior learning
Students have jointly constructed simple procedures. They have followed procedures and noted the steps involved. Students have used a scaffold to write a procedure.

Engages in writing texts with the intention of conveying an idea or message

Produces simple texts that show the emergence of the grammar and punctuation needed to achieve the purpose of the text

Students will be assessed on their ability to:
- write or illustrate a basic procedure text using a scaffold
- use action verbs or represent actions
- order steps chronologically.
