Description of activity:
Students write a report of 230 – 250 words on the global issue of access to fresh water. In their report they:
- describe the importance of fresh water to life on earth
- outline the problems faced by people around the world in gaining access to fresh water
- suggest ways to overcome these problems.
Context:
Students have been studying the Focus Area 4G4, Global Issues and the Role of Citizenship. They have learnt about different global geographical issues and the need to promote ecological sustainability.
