Description of activity
Students write an email to a friend, telling them about a disastrous weekend they had.
or
Students write a diary entry in which they reflect on their pastimes and daily routine when they were in primary school.
Context
This activity forms part of the writing component of a Stage 5 assessment of learning task. During the Stage 5 course, students have learnt the past tense and have engaged in the deconstruction and construction of email and diary entry text types.
