- traditional use of the bush food
- nutritional value of the bush food & its relationship to health
- a recipe that utilises the bush food in a creative or innovative way
- a photograph of the chosen dish.
Context
In this unit the students have been studying content from the Food in Australia focus area. They have conducted a number of practical tasks using bush foods and have been on an excursion to Susannah Place looking at the lives of the first settlers and also to the Botanical gardens investigating native plants and their uses. Relevant content and associated tasks have accompanied the unit.
