Rania has demonstrated sound knowledge and understanding of the structure and features of a narrative. There is evidence of planning, drafting and editing. A simple storyline has been used but the text would benefit from further development of plot, characters and mood, and from a stronger resolution. Verbs, adjectives and conjunctions have been appropriately used but the language could be more varied and descriptive. There is some inconsistency in the use of tense and there are errors in the spelling and punctuation. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade C standard midway through Stage 3.
