## Wake up - Kim : Grade Commentary

### Other Work Samples for:

Kim has demonstrated a basic understanding of addition and subtraction. Numerals and symbols have been used to record the number sentences. The recording of subtraction using numbers 1 to 10 is accurate, but Kim has experienced difficulty with subtraction using numbers beyond 10. There is no explanation or description of the situation using mathematical language or diagrams. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade D standard at the end of Stage 1.

The student has a basic knowledge and understanding of the content and has achieved a limited level of competence in the processes and skills.
