The work samples for this grade, together, assist teachers to gain a common understanding of the standard of work typically produced by students whose performance, on balance, matches the description for Grade C.

Students will write a deconstruction of a pair of commercially-produced slippers, including an explanation of the performance criteria of slippers.

Activity: Influences on Costume Design (View Activity…)
Students will sketch a film costume from the stimulus material provided and label the design features, explaining how the designer uses sources of inspiration and describing how historical, cultural and/or contemporary perspectives have influenced the design.

Activity: Inspirational Bags - Evaluation Report (View Activity…)
Students will write a report evaluating the project work they have recently completed to produce a bag incorporating colouration and decoration techniques as part of the surface design.

The student has a sound knowledge and understanding of the main areas of content and has achieved an adequate level of competence in the processes and skills.
