Other Work Samples for:
Riley has demonstrated sound knowledge and understanding of volume and surface area. The volume of the pyramid has been correctly calculated but no units have been considered. There is an incorrect calculation of area of the triangular face and an unsuccessful attempt to calculate the length of the slant height has been made. Drawing the right-angled triangle separately may have helped prevent the error. Riley has stated that surface area = base plus 4 sides but then only calculated 4 sides. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade C5 standard at the end of Stage 5.
