Probability - Pat : Grade Commentary
Pat has demonstrated sound knowledge and understanding of probability. The unfairness of the situation in Question 1 has been identified and the formula has been used to correctly calculate probability in Question 3. There is evidence of sound understanding of the principles of theoretical probability, despite a misunderstanding with the number of dice. Some mathematical arguments have been used but the reasoning and conclusions are not detailed. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade C6 standard at the end of Stage 5.
