Midpoint - Tai : Grade Commentary
Tai has demonstrated an adequate level of competence in using the midpoint formula to solve a mathematical problem. Appropriate strategies have been used but only horizontal and vertical solutions have been found. The midpoint formula has been used to check the solutions but no generalisations have been made. Appropriate mathematical language, notation and diagrams have been included. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade C standard midway through Stage 5.
