Work Samples - Grade D

The work samples for this grade, together, assist teachers to gain a common understanding of the standard of work typically produced by students whose performance, on balance, matches the description for Grade D.

Activity: Human interaction with the Antarctic (View Activity…)

Students create a timeline, plotting the significant human interactions in Antarctica since 1900 and identify the beliefs and practices behind these interactions.


Activity: What are democratic rights? (View Activity…)

Students answer questions about democracy and respond to a scenario applying their understanding of this concept.


Grade D

The student has a basic knowledge and understanding of the content and has achieved a limited level of competence in the processes and skills.
