Sam has demonstrated basic knowledge and understanding of the structure and features of a narrative. The narrative structure consists only of a sequence of events without orientation or conclusion. There is limited use of descriptive language. Sam has attempted to edit the writing and has spelt most common words correctly. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade D standard at the end of Stage 3.
