Dale has demonstrated sound knowledge and understanding of the content and text type. The discussion has been adequately structured with both sides of the argument presented. Valid reasoning has been demonstrated but further justification is required. Sentence beginnings have been varied but the language is a little repetitive. Time connectives have been appropriately used and an adequate level of competence is evident in the editing and spelling. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade C standard at the end of Stage 3.
