Sam has demonstrated extensive knowledge and understanding of the structure and features of an information report. Information from a variety of sources has been researched and synthesised. The report has been appropriately structured in paragraphs, and complex sentences have been used. Extensive technical language has been used and elaboration has been provided to show a strong understanding of the concepts. There is evidence of effective editing and proficient desktop publishing skills, despite some minor spelling, grammar and punctuation errors. To improve, Sam could avoid interspersing personal opinions with factual information. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade A standard at the end of Stage 3.
