Other Work Samples for:

Drew has demonstrated an adequate level of competence in organising musical ideas into a composition. The piece is well structured; introducing the instruments and layering sound. A steady beat is created through the repetition of the drum part in the performance, and there is a clear understanding of ostinato, but musical concepts could be more effectively used and the notation could communicate musical ideas more clearly. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade C standard at the end of Stage 3.

Grade C

The student has a sound knowledge and understanding of the main areas of content and has achieved an adequate level of competence in the processes and skills.
