Other Work Samples for:
Rania has demonstrated a high level of competence in using forms and techniques to convey meaning. Careful observation is evident in the variation of flower shapes and sizes despite some inaccuracies in the depiction of the stems. The vase has been cropped to focus on the flowers, and contrasting colours and textures have been used to differentiate between foreground and background. Gradation of tone has been used to create a three-dimensional effect for the vase, and some depth and perspective has been achieved. Tonal qualities and textures have been expressively used on the petals and stems, but the shading of the petals is mainly at the edges.
