Jordan has applied knowledge and skills to demonstrate a high level of competence in using techniques such as collage, painting and printmaking. There is evidence of experimentation in the layering of the surface of Mars. The contrasting bold colours are eye-catching and help accentuate the features of the subject matter. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade B standard at the end of Stage 3.

The student has a thorough knowledge and understanding of the content and a high level of competence in the processes and skills. In addition, the student is able to apply this knowledge and these skills to most situations.
