Nicky and partners have demonstrated a high level of competence in composing a dance sequence. Traditional and contemporary movements have been explored, refined and organised in a composition that demonstrates a thorough understanding of the elements of dance. The performance is technically proficient with effective use of formations and relationships, but further refinement of expression and movement is possible. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by students performing at grade B standard at the end of Stage 3.

Grade B

The student has a thorough knowledge and understanding of the content and a high level of competence in the processes and skills. In addition, the student is able to apply this knowledge and these skills to most situations.
