Work Samples - Grade B

The work samples for this grade, together, assist teachers to gain a common understanding of the standard of work typically produced by students whose performance, on balance, matches the description for Grade B.

Activity: Fundamental Movement Skills (View Activity…)

Students practise the fundamental movement skills of catching and overarm throwing, and then use these skills in a modified game of softball, teeball, baseball or cricket.


Activity: Benefits of Physical Activity Fact Sheet (View Activity…)

Students design a fact sheet to be used at school to promote involvement in physical activity.


Activity: Special Needs Menu (View Activity…)

Students plan a menu for elderly visitors, taking into account their special dietary needs.


Activity: Feelings About Being Active (View Activity…)

Students participate in continuous physical activity for 15 minutes and complete a reflection worksheet.


Grade B

The student has a thorough knowledge and understanding of the content and a high level of competence in the processes and skills. In addition, the student is able to apply this knowledge and these skills to most situations.
