Money Matters - Ali : Grade Commentary
Ali has demonstrated an adequate level of competence in sorting, ordering and counting money. Some equivalent amounts have been demonstrated using coins of different denominations but one error has been made. Diagrams have been used to record solutions, and change has been correctly calculated for one amount. To improve, Ali could use mathematical language and symbols to explain the answers obtained. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade C standard midway through Stage 1.

The student has a sound knowledge and understanding of the main areas of content and has achieved an adequate level of competence in the processes and skills.
