Other Work Samples for:

Ashley has demonstrated basic knowledge and understanding of the planning, structuring and constructing of a personal recount. Events appear to be sequenced but sequencing words have not been used, and sentence structure is limited. An understanding of past tense has been demonstrated but ideas have not been clearly expressed. There has been a limited attempt at applying basic grammatical features and using appropriate punctuation and spelling. Ashley’s handwriting is legible with well-formed letters but there is an inconsistency in the size and position of letters. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade D standard at the end of Stage 1.

Grade D
