Chris has designed and produced a textile item of sound quality using difficult materials and techniques. The textile item is functional and the selection of materials is appropriate for the end use. A range of appropriate techniques have been used but Chris has not completely mastered some techniques, such as zipper insertion and understitching on the bodice. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at Grade C standard.

Grade C

The student has a sound knowledge and understanding of the main areas of content and has achieved an adequate level of competence in the processes and skills.
