Textile Item - Lindsay : Grade Commentary
Lindsay has designed and produced a textile item of high quality featuring a range of creative techniques including photo transfer and piecing of blocks. Appropriate materials have been selected and used, and the aesthetics of the quilt cover have been enhanced by interesting use of colour, pattern and block design. Lindsay has demonstrated a high level of competence in the selection and use of a range of techniques but has not completely mastered the completion and finishing of the patches. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at Grade B standard.
Grade B
The student has a thorough knowledge and understanding of the content and a high level of competence in the processes and skills. In addition, the student is able to apply this knowledge and these skills to most situations.
