Textile Item - Terry : Grade Commentary
Terry has designed and produced textile items of an excellent quality, demonstrating a range of creative processes and techniques. A very high level of proficiency is evident in the manipulation of techniques, materials and tools to develop an original pattern with accurate cutting and joining of pieces. Terry has selected and used a range of appropriate construction techniques, such as zipper and piping insertion, to ensure the items are appropriate for the end use. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at Grade A standard.
Grade A
The student has an extensive knowledge and understanding of the content and can readily apply this knowledge. In addition, the student has achieved a very high level of competence in the processes and skills and can apply these skills to new situations.
