Probability - Bailey : Grade Commentary
Bailey has demonstrated an elementary understanding of the principles of probability. Some knowledge of the concept of the likelihood of an event occurring has been shown, but the incorrect response shows an inability to identify odd numbers and a lack of understanding of the principles of chance. A correct response to the third question has been given but there is no explanation, and mathematical language and notation have not been used. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade E2 standard at the end of Stage 5.
