Using Histograms and Polygons - Jordan : Grade Commentary
Jordan has demonstrated basic knowledge and understanding of histograms and polygons. Standard procedures have been used to construct histograms and polygons but there are some inaccuracies in the scale. The distribution table has been correctly completed, and the mean and frequency have been obtained from the graph. The ogive has been used to estimate the median but the mean has not been calculated and the explanation does not demonstrate an understanding of the link between the shape of the graph and the median or mean. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade D4 standard at the end of Stage 5.
