Can-do Trigonometry - Mackenzie : Grade Commentary
Mackenzie has demonstrated thorough knowledge and understanding of trigonometric ratios in relation to right-angled triangles. A variety of examples using the three trigonometric ratios has been presented but there are some inaccuracies in the solutions. There is some confusion in the use of trigonometric symbols and a misunderstanding in relation to the angle of depression, but the practical problems show a high level of competence in the application of trigonometry to real-life situations. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade B standard midway through Stage 5.
