Information Sheet

  1. Search on the internet or in magazines for six pictures of models, both male and female, that depict current fashion in Japan. Choose six pictures that are varied in appearance and clothing to allow you to demonstrate the breadth and depth of your knowledge of the topic.
  2. Write and record a script for yourself as the compere of a fashion show featuring the models in the pictures. Make general comments about their appearance and provide detailed information about what they are wearing. Remember to open and close the show appropriately.
  3. Consider the language needed to describe physical characteristics (in detail), as well as vocabulary and grammar structures associated with the wearing of different clothing.
  4. Submit the selected six model pictures, in order, with your recorded commentary on a CD, either as a PowerPoint or in another suitable form.
  5. Check the sound of the recording to ensure it is clear.
