Designing a Database - Terry : Grade Commentary
Terry has demonstrated thorough knowledge and understanding of database construction. A high level of competence is evident in the application of software to produce a database with queries, forms and reports. Appropriate fields have been used and graphics have been added to forms and reports. Terry has demonstrated a high level of competence in writing a selection query and there is some evidence of sorting in the list view. The reports indicate analysis and problem-solving skills as the relevant data is clearly shown in an uncluttered and consistent format. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade B standard.

The student has a thorough knowledge and understanding of the content and a high level of competence in the processes and skills. In addition, the student is able to apply this knowledge and these skills to most situations.
