Kerry has demonstrated an adequate level of competence in developing interview questions to obtain information about life in an Arabic-speaking country. Appropriate vocabulary and simple linguistic structures have been used with some errors. There is evidence of sound knowledge and understanding of the culture of Arabic-speaking communities, but the response would benefit from questions eliciting greater detail. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade C standard.
