Context
Students have been learning about lifestyles, cultures and traditions of Australia and Arabic-speaking communities. They have read personal recounts of people who migrated from an Arabic-speaking country to Australia. The students discussed the benefits and challenges facing immigrants. They know how to include appropriate linguistic structures when formulating questions to members of the Arabic-speaking communities to display appropriate intercultural behaviour.
