Darcy has demonstrated an adequate level of competence in developing interview questions to gather information about life in an Arabic-speaking country. Appropriate vocabulary and linguistic structures have been used with some spelling and grammatical errors. Sound knowledge and understanding of Arabic and Australian cultures is evident, but the response would benefit from further elaboration by the use of more original questioning. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade C standard.
