Activity Sheet

You are the senior researcher of a popular television show that interviews well-known Australians. For this episode, you are to locate and present information on an Aboriginal person who has contributed to the maintenance and revival of Aboriginal culture. Present your final scene selections as a PowerPoint presentation of about 10 slides. Check with the teacher to ensure the suitability of the person before you start any in-depth research.

Using the internet resources provided below and your own ideas:

  • select the person you wish to investigate
  • research the person’s background
  • research the person’s achievements
  • research the contributions of this person to the maintenance and revival of Aboriginal culture(s)
  • decide what elements you think should be in the TV program
  • present your final product to the producer.
