Other Work Samples for:

Haley has demonstrated a limited awareness of the features of a recount. Letters have been attempted and a picture has been drawn to illustrate the event which has been retold for the teacher to scribe. Past tense has been used and there is some sense of directionality in the writing but the words are unclear and there is a lack of spacing. Capital letters have not been used and there is no evidence of an understanding of punctuation. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing below the expected standard midway through Kindergarten.
