Other Work Samples for:
Lee has demonstrated an adequate awareness of the features of a recount. Past tense has been used and an appropriate drawing has been included to support the writing. The directionality is correct and there is spacing between the words. Full stops and capital letters have been used but there is inconsistent use of upper-case and lower-case letters. Copied text and some simple sight words have been used. There is evidence of a good understanding of letter-sound relationships. To develop further, Lee needs to work on correct letter formation, punctuation and the appropriate use of lower-case and upper-case letters. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at the expected standard at the end of Kindergarten.
