Other Work Samples for:
Jamie has demonstrated an adequate awareness of the features of a recount. Past tense has been used and words indicating who, what, where and when have been included. Events have been sequenced and conjunctions have been used to join similar ideas. There is good directionality and letter formation is mostly correct. Simple sentences and one complex sentence have been created with capital letters and full stops used appropriately. Different strategies have been used to spell words, and copied words have been incorporated. Attempts at self-correction have been made. To develop further, Jamie could include more detail and give a personal opinion of the experience. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at the expected standard at the end of Kindergarten.
