Other Work Samples for:
Jessie has demonstrated an adequate awareness of the features of an information report. Basic descriptions have been provided and simple present tense has been used. Most letters have been correctly produced and the word order in most sentences is correct but punctuation has not been used. The directionality of the writing is correct and there is adequate spacing between the words. Attempts have been made to use letters and sounds to spell unfamiliar words. To progress further, Jessie needs to explore different sentence beginnings and work on the use of capital letters and punctuation. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at the expected standard midway through Kindergarten.
