Impact of colonisation on Aboriginal peoples in the early years of the Australian colony - Shannon : Grade Commentary
Shannon has demonstrated sound knowledge and understanding of the impact of colonisation on Aboriginal peoples through addressing some of the main issues relating to the topic. There is evidence of adequate research and an attempt has been made to deal with all areas, but there is an imbalance in the detail provided for each of the headings, and the significance of the land for Aboriginal people has not been mentioned. Historical terms and concepts are generally used appropriately but there are some anachronisms and inaccuracies. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade C standard.
