Life writing - Marley : Grade Commentary
Marley has demonstrated a high level of competence in composing and evaluating a personal reflection. There is a thorough understanding of the relationship between audience, purpose, language choice and form as language techniques are linked to the purpose of the text and effect on audience. The vocabulary used is appropriate and clear, but at times the reflection is an explanation of techniques rather than an assessment of how they were used. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade B standard midway through Stage 4.
Grade B
The student has a thorough knowledge and understanding of the content and a high level of competence in the processes and skills. In addition, the student is able to apply this knowledge and these skills to most situations.
