Dear Diary,
Today was a terrible day because I had to do an interview with a young man, who witnessed his mother’s brutal murder by her boss when he was 8 years old. And his father abandoned him when he was 4 years old because he never wanted to be tied down by a kid.
It had been 10 years to the day since the murder of his mother. He decided it was time that he talked out about the terrible ordeal and his life before it happened and his life after it and how he moved on with his life.
I had to ask Joey all these questions but I knew they made him upset. I went and saw my boss about the questions before the show started but he told me that I had to ask them or I would lose my job. I decided to ask the questions but I was going to make them as less painful as I could and I would try to help him get through it.
The interview went ok he talk to me about what he has gone through, all the hard times that he wanted to give up because there was no one left to love him or care for him. And about some of his good time like when he graduated from High School and when he was accepted into the top une in Australia to become a surgeon.
We both cried through it and we decided to keep in contact so that we can see how each other are going. It was a very hard interview but I am glad I did it because I got to hear everything that this young man had to go and I ended up making a new friend out of it.
