Students read each scenario and provide a written response suggesting a strategy for coping with this situation.

Prior learning
Students have identified the physical, social and emotional changes associated with growing up. They have explored factors that influence their personal identity and values and how these can impact on their behaviour. Students have discussed the concept of resiliency and suggested strategies for coping with challenging situations. They have practised communication skills such as listening, negotiation and assertiveness.
