Terry has demonstrated a high level of competence in the fundamental movement skills of kicking and dodging. In kicking, Terry positions his foot correctly, focuses on the ball, and bends his knees. Different parts of the foot are used to contact the ball and there is reasonably consistent follow-through of the movement but Terry could display more proficient arm movement. He moves to the ball well, demonstrates good ball control, and is able to pass, kick and head the ball in a game situation. In dodging, Terry demonstrates good balance and the ability to change direction in one step by pushing off the outside foot. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade B standard at the end of Stage 3.

The student has a thorough knowledge and understanding of the content and a high level of competence in the processes and skills. In addition, the student is able to apply this knowledge and these skills to most situations.
