Sascha has demonstrated basic knowledge and understanding of the content and text type. A limited level of competence in structuring an argument and providing supporting examples is evident. Some progress from the mindmap to the draft and final copy has been shown, and a conclusion has been presented but there is no justification of viewpoints. Basic desktop publishing skills have been demonstrated but the text could be improved with the use of more complex sentences and the substantiation of ideas. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade D standard midway through Stage 3.
