Lee has demonstrated extensive knowledge and understanding of the structure and features of a literary description. There is sophisticated use of descriptive and metaphorical language. Sentence structure, grammar and punctuation have been accurately used throughout the text, and a variety of strategies has been used to accurately spell unfamiliar words. To progress further, Lee could further develop editing skills to publish the work effectively. Overall, this work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing a grade A standard at the end of Stage 3.
