Other Work Samples for:

Alex has demonstrated a basic understanding of the features of an information report. Limited information about the animal has been provided but a classification has been included. There is some use of technical language but it needs further explanation. The sentence structure is mostly simple but some compound sentences and one complex sentence have been used. Strategies have been used to edit the final copy but the punctuation is limited and the structure of the report needs work. To improve, Alex could provide additional information about the animal, structure the report in paragraphs and use more adjectives and complex sentences. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade D standard midway through Stage 2.

Grade D

The student has a basic knowledge and understanding of the content and has achieved a limited level of competence in the processes and skills.
