Eden has demonstrated sound knowledge and understanding of the structure and features of a recount. The information has been adequately sequenced and there is consistent use of past tense, but the time connectives are repetitive. An adequate range of strategies has been used to spell most words, and the handwriting is of consistent size, but some capital letters have been omitted. To improve, Eden could work on punctuation, include more descriptive language and a re-orientation or evaluative concluding comment.
